ASU Police's own Clery 60-day log (Aug. 14 to Oct. 13, 2026) lists 430 cases, including 8 reports of sexual assault or sexual abuse, about 20 assaults and fights, and 59 bike, e-bike and scooter thefts. 234 entries are marked "No Solvability Factors (Inactive)," meaning police found no leads to pursue.

Federal campus-crime data ASU reports to the U.S. Department of Education shows on-campus rapes rising from 7 in 2014 to 27 in 2024, and aggravated assaults from 5 in 2018 to 31 in 2024.

ASU's side / context"No solvability" is a standard police status, most often on thefts and vandalism with no witness or suspect. Clery figures count reports, not convictions. More reporting can mean more people coming forward as well as more crime.
