The Direwolf ransomware group posted ASU on its dark-web leak site Aug. 17, its first claimed U.S. university target. Threat-intel firm SOCRadar separately found 25 stolen-credential records tied to asu.edu, including employee logins to ASU's central sign-in portal; those aren't confirmed as part of the gang's claim.

ASU's side / contextASU has not confirmed the claim or said what data, if any, was taken. SOCRadar labels it alleged and unverified. The second source is a site seeking clients for breach lawsuits.
